Jennifer Capriati, a former World No. 1 women's tennis player from the United States is said to be ïn tremendous pain physically and mentally" as admitted by one of her friends.Capriati, who won 14 career titles, including three Grand Slams and a gold medal at the 1992 Olympic was transported to a Florida hospital at about 7 a.m. Sunday after she was overdose from her condo near Palm Beach.
Former tennis star Justin Gimelstob says Capriati still has a long road ahead despite the reports that she is recovering fully.
In the Early Show on CBS, Justin says she is struggling with depression.
According to Gimelstob, Capriati, lacked a normal childhood and the “social interaction” to help her later in life.
Capriati's mother however, believes that "God is taking care of her daughter.
