Immigration - anyone?

There are a lot of people who have been contemplating to migrate to a better place. Some wanted to go to America, some to Canada, some to Australia, while others just anywhere except their home country. Why is this so? Why is it that many would want to leave the comforts of their home to work hard in other country? Well, I have asked some people and many of them just want a cold place to live in. In that sense, they should be contemplating to go to Canada or in the United States, but not in Australia since it is not cold there. The weather is good in Australia so if you want just a tropical weather, and you dislike very cold places, then it is the best place for you. Most peole want to migrate because of a better job opportunity. We call it "green pasteur". Who wouldn't want to earn in dollars? And some point out that the countries in the west are much more open and liberated.

If you want to live in a multi-cultural country, it is better to go to the countries which welcomes immigrants with wide open arms like Canada and Australia. There are hundreds of nationalities and cultures in those countries which make them very tolerant to people of different colors, races, fashion sense, etc. Isn't it wonderful to be around people from different places, who look different and think different than you? You're sure gonna have argumnets with them in one way of another! But the mere fact that you are all created by God in a unique and complementary way is just amazing to think about! Simply awesome!

Well, if you are seriously thinking about going for immigration, here are some tips for you to get started:

  1. You should know their official website. You don't really have to pay an agency to be able to launch and process your application. Most of the time, their website will tell you everything that you need to do and they will guide you. You just have to read and understand them. You will save a lot if you process on your own. Remember, they (immigration department) don't really give preference to applications prepared and processed by an agency.

  2. Understand all their requirements very well. Most of the immigration section gives a points-system in which you could analyze your education, adaptability, work experiences, etc. so you will know if you have a chance of "making it". If you do, proceed to number 3.

  3. Gather all your documents, pay the corresponding fee and send your applications.  If you found out that you have a chance for a successful immigration, don't waste your time. Gather all your documents, apy the fee and send it. Remember, it would take about 1 to 3 years to process.
Well, that's about it! By the way, here's the link of the official website of canadian immigration http://www.cic.gc.ca/.
